PAYG Mobile Broadband
Using Pay As You Go mobile broadband means you do not have to commit to a paying a fixed monthly charge, simply buy a top-up for the data you need to download.
O2 and Vodafone are not truly PAYG. but offer 30 day contracts that you can end at any time. Three offer a very attractive package where the data costs are the same price as their contract offers, from less than £4 per Gb for their 3 Broadband Max package.
Top tip, watch out for excess download costs, these are very high (Up to £1,000 per Gb!!). However, they are easy to avoid, all networks allow you to measure your downloads, simply buy another top up when you approach your limit.
