Wireless Internet Access in Tube Stations


The Olympic Games are approaching really fast and, as you may already have guessed, London is preparing for a huge influx of visitors coming from all over the world in just two years time.

This requires superior levels of internet access, not only for the visitors but also for Londoners who will also be using it more during the Games.

In view to the event, steps are already being taken to ensure that everything is going to be perfect. London is hoping to impress through an increased number of WiFi hotspots which will be the only way for some people to access the Internet.

London has always been an impressive holiday destination but the Olympic Games will come with certain requirements and we cannot afford to make mistakes.

Boris Johnson, Mayor of London, has outlined some plans to considerably increase WiFi access across the capital city. WiFi hotspots will thus be installed in London Tube stations.

The Mayor welcomes any new and financially viable ideas that can offer improvements to the system. Since many people ?want the facility of looking at their BlackBerrys, Mayor Johnson believes that progress is possible in this case and it will happen.
