Virgin mobile broadband users may get movies on demand!
Mobile broadband is now starting to get very competitive, at least for Virgin mobile broadband who are now offering 'on demand movies' as a service to mobile broadband customers.
As a recent addition to Virginmedia's range of mobile broadband services, films on demand are set to rival competitors in the battle for the best mobile broadband offering.
Customers will be able to download films of their choice straight to their laptops, using their virgin mobile broadband connection. Opposite to what many say, Virginmedia are obviously encouraging mobile broadband users to use up as much of their data limit as possible.
The aptly named 'Virgin media online' will allow users to download hundreds of films, or alternatively stream them online. And they won't be 10 year old movies either, Twilight: New Moon will be available to download from May 6th.
Choosing to rent the movies will allow customers 48hr viewing time, as well as being able to watch the movie wherever a connection is possible - at a friends house, or at work.
The invention of this new mobile broadband service called Virgin Media Online also expects to add more high definition movies and making it easier to download the films too.
