Virgin media mobile broadband deal for Students!

Virgin Media (Virgin mobile broadband) has launched a new product that will help students save some cash on their cable broadband services.  University students can now signup for a 9-month contract with the company for the duration of the school year instead of being locked into a contract for 12 or 24 months.  The only requirement is that they hold a valid NUS card.

Students can also save an additional 15% if they add Virgin mobile services.  This offer ends October 31st and Virgin Media has waived the regular £20 activation fee for its student customers.

Virgin Media?s standard broadband package is the "XL? broadband that boasts 20Mbps with an unlimited monthly transfer allowance for only £20 a month for the first two months and £30 per month for the remainder of the contract.  If students would like to choose a cheaper alternative, the "L? package is only £20 per month with unlimited download limits for the duration of the contract but only comes with a 10Mbps connection.
