No long term mobile broadband contract with the new 5GBP 30 day tariff

On 30th July, O2 mobile broadband announced they were launching a new 5GBP/month mobile broadband tariff. This will allow customers to use the internet for a month without becoming tied in to a long term contract. Click here for more.

This means that whoever takes up the offer with this tariff will have to pay £5 a month and only £19.99 for the dongle to have 500MB monthly data allowance on the network plus unlimited WiFi access provided by The Cloud and BT Openzone.

Vishal Khakhar from O2 says he knows that more and more customers are looking for shorter contracts so this 30-day tariff is exactly what they need in terms of flexibility and price, which means they can enjoy internet access whenever they like and top up when allowance runs out.

The recently launched Pay and Go Mobile Broadband started kits from O2 available at O2 stores across the UK offer pre-loaded dongles which will expire in one month or three months and also include unlimited WiFi. The started 1GB pre-loaded data kit usable for three months costs £29.99, while the 2GB one which expires in one month can be found for £34.99.
