LTE mobile broadband a growing trend

A leading company has said the need for long term evolution (LTE) mobile broadband will start to see a significant increase, according to Nokia Siemens.

An additional number of LTE networks, rumoured to be around a dozen, will be built by Nokia Siemens, other sources have stated there will be even more in the pipework totalling 30.

A source close to Nokia Siemens has backed this up by saying how rapid growth means they are having to keep up with the demand. This demand is in the form of mobile broadband access, when consumers are using their laptops, or mobile phones to access data services, surf the web, and check their emails.

Apparently LTE mobile broadband reflects the benefits that 4G mobile broadband offers with a rumoured speed of up to 1 gigabyte per second.

As Europe gears up for the increased need for LTE there will be some analogue channels that will be used for expansion of LTE mobile broadband and 4G mobile broadband.
