The iPad is over achieving in the area of sales volume with Apple in America. The new tablet unit is even out selling the popular Mac product from Apple, and some experts say there could be an increased need for high speed mobile broadband in the UK once it hits our shores.
The iPad in the States is proving extremely popular as people vote with their wallets across the pond - the latest sales figures reveal that more than 200,000 iPads are being sold in America every week, and that number is rapidly increasing.
Every week there are apparently more than 90,000 sold than all of the sales of Apple Mac pcs put together. They seem to have hit a winner with the iPad, people adore it.
Those in the UK hoping to get hold of the iPad will have to wait a bit longer after Apple announced there was a delay because of the amount of units being sold in the US, now, instead of being released on May 28th, iPads will go on sale apparently on June 7th.
All the major mobile broadband providers are gearing up their pricing plans for the Apple iPad, which will be compatible. Mobile broadband deals for the iPad will be rolled out as soon as the iPad is available, expect to see offers from O2, Vodafone and Orange anytime soon!
