4G mobile broadband energy reduction plans
Latest news on 4G mobile broadband includes the strategy to reduce the amount of energy being used by fourth generation mobile broadband. The aims of the newly launched group include finding ways to reduce the energy requirements over the next 2-3 years, the goal is to halve the energy needed also.
There seems to be obvious fears about the amount of energy that will be used for 4G mobile broadband, which is set to be unveiled towards 2011/2012. Many highly qualified technical minds have been set the task of halving energy for 4G mobile broadband.
While 4G is some way of, officials want to be well prepared for it's launch. They have named the group in charge of this EARTH. They are positive that reducing the energy consumption will not be the only benefit, assuring us that better mobile broadband availability will be another benefit.
