40Mb Fibre Broadband in UK offered by Zen Internet

Broadband connections as fast as 40Mbps could hit the UK if Zen Internet Provider?s plans are taken up.

Fibre-optic broadband could be available to residential and business clients as soon as September if the Rochadale company?s plans go ahead.

Zen says that users will have broadband at much faster speeds from 15Mbps to 40Mbps and 2Mbps to 10Mbps upload speeds. At the moment Zen is running fibreoptic service trials among a select few customers and its own employees, so the project is still a work in progress at the moment.

If you already subscribe to Zen internet services and would like to take part in the trial then the company invites you to email your name, address and phone number through their website here.

Zen internet service providers have been accused of implementing the Fair Usage Policy to put a cap on download limits for its new service, but the company denies that this is the case.

While no pricing structure has been announced for Zen?s new service, it will be announced later this year in September for those who are connected to a fibre enabled exchange.
